The Padín Scholarship is awarded each year to two students from Puerto Rico who have an excellent record of academic and extracurricular achievement and who have an especially strong commitment to the future of Puerto Rico. Please read "About Jose Padin" to learn more about this scholarship and the long history of Puerto Rican students at Haverford.

As part of your application, please write an essay on why you feel well-qualified for the Padín Scholarship. We are looking for you to be convincing and honest in expressing your opinions. Your essay should be in English and may be any length you choose. Please upload your essay or email your completed application to admission@haverford.edu. The deadline for completed applications is February 7, 2025.
