Haverford's Have-A-Look (HAL) program is designed to help prospective students from historically underrepresented backgrounds become acquainted with the academic and social opportunities at Haverford. Students who participate in HAL have the opportunity to interact with professors and administrators, learn about diversity and inclusion on campus, connect with Haverfordians, and immerse themselves in the Haverford experience.
We will be accepting applications until Monday, August 12. We will be reviewing applications as they are received and making decisions on a rolling basis so we encourage you to apply as soon as you are able to do so. Please allow yourself at least 30 minutes to complete this application, which will ask you to complete two short answers and reflect on your interest in Haverford.
Please note: All HAL participants are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for the 2024-25 academic year unless you have a medical or religious exemption.
PLEASE NOTE: All HAL participants are required to be fully vaccinated (including a COVID booster, if eligible). If you have a medical or religious vaccination exemption, please email Kathleen Abels, Director of Admission, after submitting your registration form. Haverford is a mask friendly campus. We expect all community members to act with care, empathy, and compassion around one another and our neighbors. Before indicating on the HAL application your interest in an overnight stay this fall, please be sure that you have permission from your parent or guardian and your school to travel to Philadelphia for this opportunity. If your airline tickets are booked and you cannot attend, you may be responsible for the cost of your ticket.
